Construction Timeline

  • Construction starts on June 16th, 2022, and will last approximately 2 months.
  • Start time 7 AM through the work week, and 8 AM on Saturdays.
  • No construction on Sundays.

Parking Lot Closure 

  • The Anglican Church parking lot will be closed for public use.
  • Parking in the Anglican Church lot will be made available on Sundays for parishioners of the church.
  • For the duration of this closure, the Bookmobile will be located in the Lutheran Church parking lot.

Why Now?

  • Spring weight restrictions, grant timelines, seasonal conditions for plant establishment before fall storm events, an extended permitting process, and contractor availability all factored into the current construction timeline for the living shoreline project.
